52 Weeks, 52 Books: Week 34

Greetings from Oakland, California!  It's week 34 and and I've just finished Lethal Legacy by Linda Fairstein.  Assistant DA, Alex Cooper, works and lives in NYC. When a woman is attacked in her upper east side apartment, Alex is called to the scene along with the police.  Later, another woman is killed in that apartment and the game is on.  Missing books and maps, secrets at the New York Public Library, murder and old money all mingle on the pages to form a very intense and interesting read.  I loved the story but even more, I was intrigued with all the behind the scenes historical info on the library building.
