A Dinner Out for a Stressed Pixie

This buying / closing / moving this is STRESSFUL!  So stressful in fact, that I've completely become one of those people who can't-for-the-life-of-me remember what I'm doing, where I'm going, where I put the keys, cell phone, wallet. Arg!  Anyhoo, to help alleviate said stress, MBE and I had dinner out Friday night, completely my pick of the restaurant litter.

I decided on Josie's Restaurant on the Upper West Side, it's a healthy, organic kind of place but the food was quite delicious. I had the organic angel hair pasta and turkey meatballs while MBE had some dee-licious grass-fed filet medallions.

It was just what the doctor ordered, no talking about work, mortgages, or the scary stuff but lots of conversation about the fun stuff: sofa styles and fabric, paint colors, decorating!  We walked a bit before hopping the subway downtown when the rain started and I went home to collapse into bead, exhausted and a little less stressed.

Today, however, has been a different story.  Today, my friends, I went to the DMV.  I'll leave it at that as the less said about the NJ DMV the better.  On that note, I'm off to comfort myself with ice cream, lick my wounds over my license photo and forgive and forget. ;)
